Vivary Tales
The Vivarium is what the people call the local guardhouse. The foot soldiers who comb the streets, searching for clues and arresting culprits are known as The Dogs and their leader called The Wolf. The spies hunting the dark alleys, digging out secrets and looking for bad guys are the secretive Cats, of whom not much is known.
The silent black panther, the elusive lynx, the friendly jackal, and the powerful wolf are a few who work at the low-city Vivarium, solving crime and helping the people, and perhaps even saving themselves in the process.

Spirit Story (Untitled)
Shaw is a newly minted detective eager to begin work in the supernatural division of the local police department, except the spirit guide he bonded with is too scary. No one wants to be his partner, and without a partner he can't work cases.
An unsolvable case of missing children has been haunting the division. Shaw is sent to retrieve a detective on sabbatical who might be able to help. Aspen is wealthy, eccentric, and quite possibly crazy, and he's Shaw's new partner. Shaw doesn't know if they'll solve the case, but he's fairly certain he won't survive working with Aspen. Because Shadow Shaw might be scary, but he's nothing in comparison to Aspen Miles.

Baron of the Shifting Sands
When Alexi's sister is killed, he knows he has to step up and take her place, even though it means joining the violent and often deadly world of the coliseum. Abandoning his friends and his home in the south is the hardest part. Alexi only hopes he can survive the coliseum and find a way to return to the home he loves. He doesn't expect that it might be his home that vanishes first.
Something has awakened far to the south where the sands are too hot for human survival. It kills and destroys, and Alexi's home is its target. Thanks to Rehan, Alexi has a chance to fight back. Except, the price for saving his home might be losing Rehan. The impossible choice of saving one love only to lose another isn't one Alexi is prepared to make, but if he waits too long the shifting sands might make it for him, leaving only death and destruction for him to embrace.

Ves' life has always been a troubled one. An orphan growing up on the streets and imprisoned for a crime he didn't commit, Ves knows how bad things can be. When he's chosen to go before the God of Judgement to be judged for his crimes, Ves knows the result of that will be he will either go insane or die. Except, judgement doesn't go as anyone expected when the God instead chooses Ves to be his priest.
Settling into his new life as priest is strange, but being around the God of Judgement, Rais, is no chore. Spending time together as Ves learns what it means to be a Priest of Judgement is wonderful, until people from Ves' past realize where he is. Ves must decide whether he wants the past he didn't know he lost, or the future he was just starting to build with Rais. Presuming the other powers at play allow him to live long enough to make that decision.

When dragons returned to the world, destroying most of it in the process, they brought magic and magical beasts with them. Chass was born with the power of a pathfinder, meaning he can see the path ahead and find things, in particular the monsters. He chose a career with the Federal Anti-Monster Corps, helping to fight to keep the rest of humanity alive. Despite previous injuries, Chass enjoys what he does. That is, until his superiors get a harebrained idea to attack the monster-controlled Plum Island again.
Chass has fuzzy memories of the last time the Corps attacked Plum Island. Unlike most, he walked away alive, but with a strange injury to his shoulder. All Chass wants for this attack is to leave the island alive again, and to keep as many of his fellow soldiers alive in the process. Then Chass walks into a room with a strange egg, and everything he thought he knew about the monsters and the dragons who brought them gets turned on its head. Suddenly it's not about surviving the monsters, it's about surviving the humans. Even with Levi at his side, Chass isn't certain that's a battle he can win.

Now Ike has a purpose in life to make Thatcher pay, except, as Thatcher worms his way into Ike's life, Ike quickly realizes his injury might be the least of their worries.
Saving Thatcher and himself from the scourge of Underhill takes them on a journey beyond Ike's imagining, and beyond the limited capabilities of his broken body.

Figuring out just who and what the thief might be starts to consume Kay. Little things like keeping the city safe don't seem as important with such an interesting mystery to solve; except for when it turns out that one measly thief is the least of the city's worries.
